What Features Are Coming?
The first release of ProductBay Pro Product table focuses on these five core areas.
1. Pro Columns: ‘Custom Field‘ Column and ‘Combined‘ Column
ProductBay Pro adds two advanced column types that extend the display capabilities of your product table beyond the free version and give store owners greater control over how product data is presented to customer, in frontend.
a. Custom Field Column
The Custom Field column allows you to display any product metadata directly inside your table. This is particularly valuable for stores that use custom data such as material specifications, certifications, or technical attributes.
ProductBay Pro automatically detects fields registered by Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and Meta Box. Instead of guessing or looking up meta key names, you can select from a searchable list of all registered fields on your site. The plugin identifies the field type, whether it is a text value, a number, a date, or an image, and formats the output accordingly. You can enter any meta key manually, and ProductBay Pro will pull the corresponding value for each product. A prefix and suffix option is also available, so you can format the output exactly as needed. For example, you can display a weight value as “Weight: 1.5 kg” without any custom code.
Stores using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) or Meta Box will find this feature especially useful. ProductBay Pro detects fields from these plugins automatically and renders the data in a clean, readable format.
b. Combined Column

You can choose between an inline layout, which displays elements side by side with a custom separator, or a stacked layout, which arranges them vertically. Each sub-element supports its own prefix and suffix settings. The order of sub-elements is fully adjustable using drag-and-drop.
This column type is ideal for compact table designs where screen space is limited, or for wholesale and B2B catalogs that require dense, information-rich rows.
2. Variable and Grouped Product Support
The free version of ProductBay already renders variable and grouped products inside the table. ProductBay Pro takes this further by offering richer and more flexible ways for customers to interact with product variations.
Three display modes are available. Popup Modal adds a dedicated button to the table row that opens a modal displaying all available variations. Each variation shows its attributes, pricing, stock status, and an individual add-to-cart control. Nested Rows mode expands the table row inline to reveal variations as sub-rows directly beneath the parent product, without leaving the page. There is also a Separate Rows option which can show products separately. These customization options are very neat and effective while displaying products live.
Store owners can choose which mode to enable per table. Variation data is loaded on demand using AJAX, which keeps the initial page load fast regardless of how many variations a product contains. Instead of navigating between pages, customers can browse your entire catalog in a single, continuous session. Two modes are available depending on your preference.
a. Infinite Scroll
Infinite scroll loads the next batch of products automatically as the customer scrolls toward the bottom of the table. There is no button to click and no page to navigate to. The experience is seamless and uninterrupted.
b. Load More
Load more places a button at the bottom of the table that the customer can click to fetch the next set of products. This gives the customer full control over when new products are loaded, which can be preferable for larger catalogs.
Both modes support a configurable batch size, so you can control exactly how many products are loaded per request. The feature is built on optimized REST API calls to ensure fast response times, even for stores with extensive product catalogs.
For wholesale and B2B stores where customers routinely browse large product ranges, Lazy Loading offers a significantly better experience than traditional pagination.
5. Import and Export
Managing product tables across multiple sites can be time-consuming, particularly for agencies or store owners who maintain several WooCommerce installations. ProductBay Pro includes a dedicated import and export tool to address this directly.
Any table configuration can be imported as a JSON file with a single click. This file captures the full setup including product source, column arrangement, display settings, and style customizations. The file can then be exported on any other site running ProductBay Pro to recreate the table instantly.
Pro version also supports Bulk Export, allowing you to export all tables at once for backup purposes. When importing, you can choose to overwrite an existing table or create a new one from the imported configuration. For agencies managing multiple client stores, this feature eliminates the need to rebuild complex table setups from scratch each time.
6. Priority Support
Pro customers receive priority support with a response target of one business day. Free users continue to receive forum support with a two-business-day response target.
